Event Insurance (Not)

In the normal Goggle Alerts received everyday there was an item titled "Events insurance : planning your Royal Wedding street party" taking you to a web site suggesting that it was giving expert insurance advice. I will advise you here that I subscribe to Google Alerts to keep abreast of events and trends. After reading the article I came to the conclusion that the article was a product of some article rewriting service designed to fool Google into giving increased page rank to a web site that does not deserve it.

In the normal course of my work talking with clients about their parties I am often asked about insurance and liabilities. Clients often wrongly assume our insurance coverage will insure them. This is not the case. Suppliers and vendors insurance is to protect them, not the client. Let me assure you that I am not the person to ask. There is no case where these issues should  determined by persons not in the insurance field You as the event or party organizer must contact a professional in the insurance and or legal fields.

The internet is quickly becoming a quagmire of misinformation. SEO and Google optimization are creating a new business of creating this misinformation There is a site out there called fivver that offers just about anything for 5 bucks. Badly written "original expert" articles on any topic is one example of what 5 bucks buys.

The Sound Craft L56C Professional Lecternette is a fully integrated portable lectern unit with an installed mic and a 28 watt RMS PA system. Designed for use in the most inaccessible environments, the L56C can operate without AC power for up to 75 hours with the additional battery. Auxiliary inputs/outputs, dual Tone and volume controls (for integrated and optional external speakers), a reading light, battery status indicators, and ample storage space are all integrated and easily accessible. The L56C can also be easily coupled with additional external speakers, extending its' range.

For a wide range of applications, several Lecternette models are available with a variety of integrated features. The L46C, for example, is an all purpose unit that, in addition to many of the features of the L56C, features integrated tape recorder connecter. Stripped down models are also available, including the L16C, which features fewer Auxiliary and external inputs/outputs, and the lighter, more portable L8C, with an eight watt PA, and a smaller speaker construction.
