For choosing tent sizes there a lot of different opinions. The following guide should be used as a guide only and not a definitive answer.

 

Seating Chart

 

 

Stand Up Cocktail Style

6 sq. ft. per person

Cocktail Style with some seating

8 sq. ft. per person

Tea-Style Reception with some seating

8 sq. ft. per person

Theater Style seated in rows

8 sq. ft. per person

Dinner (served) seated at 8' Banquet Tables

10 sq. ft. per person

Dinner (served) seated at 5' Round Tables

12.5 sq. ft. per person

Dinner (buffet) seated at 8' Banquet Tables

13 sq. ft per person

Dinner (buffet) seated at 5' Round Tables

15 sq. ft. per person

Dinner (served) seated at 5' rounds c/w dance floor

18 sq. ft per person

Consider the above as minimum and add additional space if inclement weather is anticipated.
